Stampin'Up! gift card holder with belly band

This Stampin’Up! gift card holder with belly band is demonstrated on my YouTube channel creating for grace.  It is actually a very easy paper saving design!  I will do my best to write out the directions and measurements here, but like so many 3 dimensional items, watching the video tutorial really is essential!

Start with a cardstock base cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″ score at 2 7/8″, 3″ and 7″. Rotate 1/4 turn and score down the length at 1 1/4″.  Cut along the 1 1/4″ score line from the left side up to the 7″score. Cut off. this creates the belly band.  The flap that’s left (from 7″ to 11″) folds up to create the flap that holds the gift card.  Secure with Tear & Tape adhesive.

Stampin’Up! Flourishing Phrases Doily Dress

Stampin'Up! Flourishing Phrases Doily Dress

The Stampin’Up! Flourishing Phrases Doily Dress is so cute, quick and easy!  First, I cut the Watermelon Wonder cardstock at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored it at 5 1/2″.  Then I used the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper as the matted background.  I set a smaller piece of whisper white cardstock at an angle and that was all that was needed.

We cinched in the waist of the doily dress with some 5/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon folded in half and secured with tear and tape adhesive.  The flowing ends are a piece cut in half, and then cut in half again, and attached behind the dress. I have created a card like this before with the white tea lace doilies and I love the dainty feminine look!

Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper Treat Tube

Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper Treat Tube

Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper Treat Tube

I have a video tutorial on my YouTube channel featuring this quick and easy treat tube design.  This treat holder is made with the envelope punch board.

Start with a 6 x 6 piece of paper.  Score across the paper at 1 1/2″, 3″, and 4 1/2″.  Then use the Stampin Up Envelope Punch Board to create the “drawstring” on each end.  This is done by placing the left edge of the paper at the 1 1/4″ line and punching.  Flip the paper over and repeat. Next, fold on the first score line and line up the edge at the 1 1/4″ and punch.  Flip over and punch.  Fold on the next score line and repeat, flip and repeat the punch.  Do the same for each score line.
