Stampin’ Up! Christmas Owl Card

This was my take on a beautiful card my friend shared with me,  I wanted to simplify it quite a bit to make it more easy to reproduce, and we tried it out at my holiday class this morning and the card was so fun and easy to create!!  Just the way I like them…lol…

Stampin' Up! Christmas Owl Card

I used the pennant punch to create the hat. Just trimmed a bit off the top at an angle and the bottom to adjust the size.  I used the owl punch for the owl parts and also to create the fur trim on the hat (trimmed the bottom of the vest) and I used the two circle punches to create the belt.  You must make it off center to create the right width, then trim to fit around the owls tummy.  I did the same thing for the silver glimmer paper with the scallop circle punches, and then “popped” up the owl for some dimension
