Stampin’Up! Beautiful You with Mediterranean Moments
I loved the pop of vibrant red color in this Stampin’Up! Beautiful You with Mediterranean Moments card! Although I love to color I wanted to make this an easily reproducible quick & easy card. Don’t forget to make your envelope pretty!
Here is the video tutorial:
Sorry about the lighting! I had moved my video station and shot 5 videos before I realized how much my lighting had changed! I have moved it back so all should be well lit again soon! Lol…
Another quick & easy card in the Stampin’Up! Serene Scenery Celebrate card series. This paper and framelits were made to go together! I love the gold accents in this card, so fun!
Start with a standard card base in Delightful Dijon cardstock and cut the Serene Scenery layer at 5.25″ x 4″. The Delightful Dijon mini striped ribbon is 3.5″ long, the gold foil strip is 3′ x .5″, and the Gold Sequin trim is about 6″.
Stamp the umbrella in Delightful Dijon ink on Delightful Dijon cardstock and cut out using the Umbrella Weather Framelits. Pop up with dimensionals. Finally embellish the umbrella with pearls. I stamped the word Celebrate directly onto the Serene Scenery base using Delightful Dijon ink.
I loved making this fun Stampin’Up! Birthday Girl Tie Dyed card! It was so outside my normal style zone, but I knew it would be perfect for my daughter or one of her friends!
The stamp set uses a wonderful 3 step technique, however lining up the images using the photopolymer stamps is super easy and the layered colors are amazing!
First, I started with a standard card base in Daffodil Delight cardstock and cut the second layer of Whisper White cardstock at 5.25″ x 4″. Stamp the Tie Dyed images on the white and then attach to base. Stamp a T shirt and the Tie dyed hearts onto a piece of white and cut using the T- shirt builder framelits. Pop up over the black accent. Remember to make your envelope pretty!
This Stampin’Up! Serene Scenery Umbrella Weather Framelit card is also quick & easy! Using another scene from this wonderful paper stack the entire beach feel of the card is set. All it needed was an umbrella from the Umbrella Weather Framelit die set, and voila! Card done!
First, I started with a standard card base in Crumb Cake cardstock. The DSP layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″. Next stamp the umbrella onto Soft Sky cardstock using Island Indigo ink. Stamp the umbrella handle in Early Espresso ink. Then use the dies to cut out the umbrella top and the handle.
Finally, stamp the sentiment onto Soft Sky cardstock and layer onto a coordinating piece of DSP from the paper stack. Flag the ends and attach pearls for some fun! Remember to make your envelope pretty!
Stampin’Up! So Detailed Thinlit Dies Celebrate card
The Stampin’Up! So Detailed Thinlit Dies Celebrate card uses my favorite part of the So In Love Bundle, the thin dies! They are so elegant! This makes creating a lovely quick and easy card so simple!!
The So Detailed thin dies coordinate beautifully with the Falling in Love Suite of products on page 50 in the 2017 Occasions Catalog. The “Celebrate” sentiment came from the Beautiful you stamp set (wood 043004, or clear 143637).
First, I started this card with a standard Very Vanilla card base, and cut the second Very Vanilla layer at 5.25″ x 4″. Then, I embossed it using the new Falling Petals textured impressions embossing folder. Next, I attached the So Detailed thinlit die to this layer and popped up the whole thing using dimensionals.
The Falling in Love Embellishment just dangles from a piece of Gold Thread using a glue dot (no knot required!) Yay!
Stampin’Up! Serene Scenery Wishing You Brighter Days card
Stampin’Up! Serene Scenery Wishing You Brighter Days card Is beyond quick and easy! This paper stack has many choices that make beautiful stand alone art for card fronts. Also, the coordinating patterns on the reverse sides are beautiful!!
As I put this series of cards together I was so excited to see all the choices I had, I think the catalog does not do this paper stack justice at all! There are a wide variety of scenes and color choices!
This is probably one of the most simple cards have assembled. I started with a basic A2 card size for the white base, the green layer was cut at 5.25″ x 4″, and the DSP is cut at 5″ x 3.75″. I stamped the sentiment on a 1/2″ strip of white cardstock, and layered the strips, attaching them with a handheld stapler.
My Stampin’Up! Sealed With Love Bundle card really ended up being more of a smash book collage look…lol… I must have moved those pieces around a hundred times to find a look I was happy with.
First, I started with the elements I knew I wanted to incorporate into the card. I had a vision in my head and we all know how that goes! Often what we end up with is a far cry from the original idea!
I pre-cut all the pieces for my class and I loved watching my friends creativity! Some used all, some were minimalist, and some created something totally new! That is my favorite part of this, there is no “right” way to be creative!
