Stampin'Up! Oh So Succulent Mother's Day card

The Stampin’Up! Oh So Succulent Mother’s Day card is colorful and yet still not a ton of fussy layers.  Which I personally love, but it’s not always practical.

Start with an A2 base in Whisper White cardstock cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″.  Score and fold at 4.25″.  The dapper denim layer is 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, and the embossed white layer is 5.25″ x 4″. Wrap with the White organza ribbon.

Attach the Succulent flowers and greenery in a layered pattern.  Stamp the sentiment on white and layer on dapper denim.  Flag the ends and remember to make the envelope pretty!

Creative Cat Crew Color Inspiration Challenge #3

Creative Cat Crew Color Inspiration Challenge #3

Creative Cat Crew Color Inspiration Challenge #3

Welcome to the Creative Cat Crew Color Inspiration Challenge #3.  The week of April 23, 2017.  I love this color challenge!  In the past we have done our monthly swaps by theme or a specific catalog!  Which is great, however I wanted to have a weekly challenge that would stretch our group creatively.  This was perfect!

Our first challenge during this transition was originally going to use the Oh So Succulent Stamp set, so I simply posted a picture that I thought would coordinate with that theme ( See the Creative Cat Crew Color Inspiration Challenge #1)  This went off without too much of a hiccup.

Fast forward to this weeks Color Inspiration Challenge which I first posted to our Creative Cat Crew Group Facebook Group page.  I had not listed the exact Stampin’Up! colors we should use, I just figured we would wing it like the previous week.  I soon found out that I really should color clarify, at least color families, to make things easier!

Mint Macron, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Wild Wasabi, or Tangerine Tango

Our Cat Crew ladies are great and very patient with me!  I often tell them I am learning right along side them and they help me to make things better!

We would love to see your creative ideas!  Just submit your entry with the color challenge number and your name!  And if you want to become a member of the Creative Cat Crew, Join us here!
