Happy Birthday Framelit Dazzling Diamonds card

Clean and Simple…  That describes this fun Happy Birthday Framelit Dazzling Diamonds card!  It was a hit at a recent stamp event, and actually super easy to create!

Simply start with a potrait A2 card base in Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. Cut the base at 4.25″ x 11″, then score and fold at 5.5″.  The basic black layer is cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and the whisper white layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″.  Stamp the background in Momento ink and attach the ribbon.

Cut a happy birthday in white and in Lemon Lime Twist, glue together a little offset.  Cut dimenionals in very thin strips and use these to pop up the Die.  Totally assemble the card then put a very fine strip of Tombo liquid glue along the Happy Birthday.  Sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds!

Remember to make the envelope pretty!

Coffee Cafe Thank you card

Coffee Cafe Thank you card

Coffee Cafe Thank you card

My fun Coffee Cafe Thank you card was one of the swaps I made for our group.  This whole Stampin’Up! suite of products is amazing!  Being in the Seattle area, home of Starbucks, I can’t wait to play more with this set!

For this card start with a thick white A2 cardstock base cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″. Score and fold in half at 4.25″.  The Early Espresso cardstock layer was cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and the Old Olive layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″.  Emboss this layer with the seaside embossing folder.

Use the circle diecuts to create the focal point and the rings!  Stamp and assemble the pieces for the coffee cup and thank you tag.  Remember to make your envelope pretty!

Stampin'Up! Tranquil Tide Enjoy Today card

This Stampin’Up! Tranquil Tide Enjoy Today card was another from the Eastern Palace series of cards.  We always do 5 cards at the live event and then I have been including another 5 projects exclusively available on the PDF instruction sheet.

I started with an A2 landscape card base cut at 5.5″ x 8.5″.  Score and fold at 4.25″.  I cut about a 2″ width of the Gold and Cream DSP.  Just fussy cut along the bottom scallop and use the Tranquil Tide ribbon around the top.

Stamp and die cut the Medallion then add the gold sticker.  Stamp the sentiment and die cut the circle. layer this on the medallion.  Voila!  Just add the Tassel and the knot, easy!

Remember to make your envelope pretty it adds such a great touch!

Happy Birthday Framelit card and video tutorial

Happy Birthday Framelit card and video tutorial

Happy Birthday Framelit card and video tutorial

Today’s project is a super easy Happy Birthday Framelit card and video tutorial.   Again with the bright cheery colors!  The new in colors are really fun!

I started with an A2 Lemon Lime Twist card base.  Cut this at 11″ x 4.25″ score and fold at 5.5″.  The next layer is Whisper White cut at 5.25″ x 4″ and embossed with the hexagon folder.  Die cut the Happy Birthday in both Tempting Turquoise and Lemon Lime twist.  Then layer them together and attach using the fine tip glue pen or the Tombo liquid glue. I left the top end of the “Y” unglued until I tucked the strings underneath.

Here’s the video tutorial:

Stamp and punch the balloons and layer on the solid cardstock balloons.  I used irridescent gift bag stuffing for the balloon strings.  Remember to make your envelope pretty!
