Here’s a Sneak Peek at the Stampin’ Up 2018 Occasions Petal Palette wedding / Anniversary card I made for a recent swap. I fell in love with this set right away when we did the Make n’ Takes at the Stampin Up convention last month!
This card just has a classic feel with clean lines and an uncluttered look. Simply start with an A2 card base in Heavy White cardstock cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″. Score and fold at 4.25″. The black cardstock layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″, and the inner white layer is 5″ x 3.75″. The emboss folder is thinner so run it through twice, side by side. (See the video for a tip!)
I still love the magic of heat embossing! Watching the matte powder change to a beautiful glossy shine makes me happy! Add all the embellishments and remember to make your envelope pretty!
And here is the video tutorial for Stampin’ Up 2018 Occasions Petal Palette wedding / Anniversary card:
This Stampin’ Up! Best Birds Side Step Card Tutorial is a sweet wedding card. I focus on cutting the template and assembling the finished parts in the video tutorial 🙂 I love the depth and detail of step cards!
After the video tutorial below I have a link to the PDF template for the side step card 🙂 I do show in the video how I used blender pens and the ink pads to color. However the main focus is on the template and the assembly (which is long enough! LOL…) Remember to make your envelope pretty!
Stampin’Up So Detailed Thinlet Celebrate Your Day card
This Stampin’Up So Detailed Thinlet Celebrate Your Day card is simply lovely! I love the elegance and versatility of this thinlet die!
Just add some embellishments from the Cupcakes & Carousels embellishment kit, and voila, card!
Start with and 8.5″ x 5.5″ Dapper Denim cardstock, score and fold at 4.25″. Cut 2 pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock at 5.25″ x 4″, use one for the inside and one for a front layer. Cut the Moroccan DSP strip at 5.25″ x 1″. Layer this with the So detailed thinlet die cut in dapper denim and wrap a piece of Very Vanilla ribbon around.
I cut the gilt edged frame in half and tucked it behind the ribbon, finish of with knots and a tassle.
Remember to make your envelope pretty! The colors I used to stamp the flower were Soft Sky, Marina Mist, and Dapper Denim.
Stampin’Up! fun Anniversary, engagement, or wedding card
“Yay!” for this Stampin’Up! fun Anniversary, engagement, or wedding card! This card is actually quick and easy using the T shirt builder framelits.
Begin using a basic A2 card base in black cardstock, this is cut at 5.5″ x 8.5″ and score at 4.25″. Use whisper white cardstock cut at 5.25″ x 4″ and emboss with the Petal Burst embossing folder. I cut one of the white doilies in half and just gently folded to create a skirt look. Then I attached a strip of tear & tape on the back of the shimmer shirt, gather the skirt and attach.
Everything is die cut using the T shirt builder framelits. And the only thing stamped and hand cut is the tuxedo shirt.
Stampin’Up! So Detailed Thinlit Dies Celebrate card
The Stampin’Up! So Detailed Thinlit Dies Celebrate card uses my favorite part of the So In Love Bundle, the thin dies! They are so elegant! This makes creating a lovely quick and easy card so simple!!
The So Detailed thin dies coordinate beautifully with the Falling in Love Suite of products on page 50 in the 2017 Occasions Catalog. The “Celebrate” sentiment came from the Beautiful you stamp set (wood 043004, or clear 143637).
First, I started this card with a standard Very Vanilla card base, and cut the second Very Vanilla layer at 5.25″ x 4″. Then, I embossed it using the new Falling Petals textured impressions embossing folder. Next, I attached the So Detailed thinlit die to this layer and popped up the whole thing using dimensionals.
The Falling in Love Embellishment just dangles from a piece of Gold Thread using a glue dot (no knot required!) Yay!
Stampin’Up! Sealed With Love & Love Notes Framelits card
The Stampin’Up! Sealed With Love & Love Notes Framelits card is awesome just for the heart pop up border itself! Add the cute Sending Love wood embellishments and it’s super cute!
Check out the close up of the super cute heart border punch! For this card just start with a basic A2 white card base. Use the framelit to create the border along the edge. The Crumb Cake layer is cut at 3.5″ x 5.25″ and the white layer is cut at 3.25″ x 5″ and then embossed. Punch a Real Red heart, stamp the sentiment, and assemble. Pretty!
