Stampin’ Up! Creative Cat Crew Fall Fun

Stampin' Up! Creative Cat Crew Fall Fun

Stampin’ Up! Creative Cat Crew Fall Fun with a little home decor!  I have wanted to make our monthly team meetings more of a fun party, so with that in mind beginning this month we switched to an evening meeting and are adding some things each month to make our gatherings both super fun and productive!

The picture above is a few of these cute little fall tea light votive’s I made for each member of our creative cat crew.  I used the Painted Autumn DSP and the Jute Twine from the 2017 Holiday catalog.  Love the rustic simplicity of these little lights!

We had a yummy time with a fall themed decor and snacks…  Not to mention some amazing swaps this month!  Nice job ladies, I always love to see what your creative minds can do!

Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin Alternative

Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin Alternative

This is one of my favorite Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin Alternative ideas!  I love how many cards I was able to make with the Pillow boxes that originally came in the kit!

I do have to say, better late than never for this Paper Pumpkin kit, which is from September!  Simply got crazy busy!  I do love the pillow boxes that came in the kit, but I give a TON of Thank You cards out by hand and by mail!!  So I did some adjusting!

I trimmed the top and bottom off all the pillow boxes, plus I trimmed 1/8″ off each side.  this gave me 16 beautifully embossed layers which I added to a Soft Suede cardstock base.  Of course also made up all the notecards.  The only other item I added was a few pieces from the Eastern Gold vinyl sticker sheets to the round tags.

September Paper Pumpkin as it was meant to be

Super cute right??  If you want these little gems delivered right to your door every month you have lots of options:

Here’s a valuable Stampin’ Cat tip:  If you prepay for the 1 year subscription under your own order, you not only save the $2 every month, but you also get the added benefit of getting the free hostess $$ to spend on anything that you want!  That is getting more than $20 in free product!!  Wow!!

Stampin’ Up! Bike Ride friend card

Stampin’ Up! Bike Ride friend card

Stampin' Up! Bike Ride friend card

Here’s a fun fall Stampin’ Up! Bike Ride friend card or just for someone you love!  There are so many die cuts that come with this set it makes me want to create more and more!

I love that the cobblestones in the  set are an impression, not a die cut.  These types of “framelits” have added a nice versatility to our most recent sets!  For this card I did an impression along the bottom and a few scattered around.  However, I thought ” wouldn’t a winding path through trees be fun??

Since this card was mostly assembling the diecuts it is really uncomplicated.  Just start with an A2 card base in Old Olive cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″.  Score and fold in half at 4.25″.  The white stamped layer is 5.25″ x 4″.  Remember to make your envelope pretty!

Stampin' Up! Timeless Textures color challenge

Here’s my Stampin’ Up! Timeless Textures color challenge! I love our weekly color challenges!  And this is one of my favorite texture sets.  The painted Harvest sentiment is perfect!

This card is super quick and easy!  Just start with an A2 size base cut at 11″ x 4.25″.  Score and fold at 5.5″.  Cut the Basic Black cardstock layer at 5.25″ x 4″.  The stamped whisper white layer is cut at 5 3/8″ x 3 7/8″.

The basic black focal strip is 3/8″, the pumpkin pie strip is 1/4″, and the white sentiment strip is cut at 1/2″.  Attach the Basic Black shimmer ribbon knot with a glue dot.

Remember to make your envelope pretty!

Stampin’Up! Custom Inked ribbon and background

Stampin'Up! Custom Inked ribbon and background

This Stampin’Up!  Custom Inked ribbon and background was essentially created by accident.  My friend reminded me of the technique of dying ribbon to match cardstock, and so at a retreat she showed me an easy way to do it.  This also included using the leftover ink to color your cardstock, creating your own custom background…lol…

We simply tapped a pad of tempting turquoise on a silicone sheet and used a few spritzes of water to preferred color intensity.  You can go for a more mottled look or solid color depending on preference.  After we colored the white ribbon and dried it with a heat gun I blotted & ran a piece of white card stock through the leftover ink creating a custom background… Yay!!

Stampin Up! Merry Cafe Hello Fall card

The Stampin Up! Merry Cafe Hello Fall card was another of our color challenges.  Yay!  In the video tutorial I tell how all my friend saw in these colors was Ronald McDonald 🙂 All I saw was fall.

Even though this is a fall card I love the cheerful colors.  Just start with an A2 card base cut at 11″ x 4.25″.  Score and fold at 5.5″.  The So Saffron layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″.  The Tangerine Tango layer is cut at 4.5″ x 3.25″. The top white embossed layer is cut at 4″ x 2.75″.  The early espresso strip is 4″ x .5″.

Finally,  stamp and sponge the final pieces, add the ribbon, and remember to make your envelope pretty!
