I was inspired to make this Happy birthday card using Christmas in the Making stamp set from my friend Libby! In case you couldn’t tell I love cats! They just make me happy! So thinking outside the box with this stamp set makes it useful year round! I have even seen some super cute Halloween cards using this set!
I also love to color and so I was incredibly excited when Stampin’ Up! brought back their line of Stampin’ Blends Alcohol ink markers complete with skin tones, and color lifter! This was so easy to do it qualified as a quick and easy card!
I started with an A2 card base in the Thick White cardstock. Cut this at 8.5″ x 5.5″. Score and fold in half at 4.25″. The Crumb Cake layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″, the DSP layer is cut at 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″, and the Shimmer White layer is 4 3/4″ x 3.5″ . You don’t have to use Shimmery white card stock with Alcohol markers, but I do love the look and blending smoothness! Stamp the Sentiments in Pool Party ink and remember to make your envelope pretty!
This Stampin’Up! Label Me Pretty Powder Pink card is a very Clean and Simple card. Quick and easy, and I show an easy way to make sure your pretty ribbon from a double strand knot stays on tops where it shows pretty!
Start with an A2 cardbase in Powder Pink cut at 11″ x 4.25″. Score and fold at 5.5″. The Very Vanilla layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″ and embossed using the Cable Knit textured impressions embossing folder.
Stamp the sentiment and punch using the Pretty Label punch, punch another out of Powder Pink cardstock. Cut the pink one in half and use to border the sentiment. Pop up using dimensionals.
There’s a simple trick to keep decorative ribbon laying flat on top when making a double strand knot, see the video below!
The Stampin’Up! Double Take Hooray card makes a fun focal point for a quick and easy card! This could work for birthday or congratulations! I love versatile cards!
Start with a Cucumber Crush card base cut at 4.25″ x 11″. Score and fold at 5.5″. The Whisper White layer is 5.25″ 4″ and the A Little Foxy DSP is cut at 5.25″ 1.5″. Wrap the Smokey Slate ribbon around and adhere to base.
Stamp the Hooray sentiment in Smokey Slate then line up the Hooray thin fill sentiment and stamp in Cucumber Crush. Pop up and add your bow and twine.
Stamp the sentiment on a 3/8″ strip of Whisper White and layer onto a strip of Cucumber Crush. Use the handheld stapler to attach. Remember to make the envelope pretty!
This super fun Stampin’Up! Colorful Tee Birthday girl card is so simple to make! A perfect card for a pre-teen daughter like mine 🙂
I had several tags made up from a previous project so I used them up ( this style is no longer available) however, I listed the currently available tag topper here! Its super cute!
Start with an 11″ x 4.25″ piece of Island Indigo cardstock. Score at 5.5″ and fold. The white layer is 5.25″ x 4″ and embossed with the Hexagon Dynamic embossing folder. Stamp and die cut the t shirt and lay it flat on the tag. Stamp the designs in multiple colors and then pop up the T shirt. Lightly run the Smokey slate ink pad over the embossed paper. I hand cut the DSP around the tag to give an extra pop of color! Remember to make your envelope pretty!
Stampin’Up! Happy Stamper Birthday T shirt builder
This Stampin’Up! Happy Stamper Birthday T shirt builder tent fold card lays flat for mailing…Super cute!!
Begin with a base of card stock measuring 8″ x 4″. Score along the long end at 2″ and 4″. This creates a center fold so the card lays flat, and also another fold to be used as the pop up portion ( see video…lol…) Cut a Blushing Bride and a Very Vanilla layer of cardstock at 3.75″ x 3.75″. The Vanlla layer is for the inside. Cut another Very Vanilla layer at 3.5″ x 3.5″. Stamp the background of the smaller vanilla layer and adhere to the Blushing Bride layer.
Remember to only add adhesive onto the bottom 2″ fold, leaving the top 2″ free to “pop up”. Add your layers and that’s it! All done pretty!
