The Stampin Up! Merry Cafe Hello Fall card was another of our color challenges. Yay! In the video tutorial I tell how all my friend saw in these colors was Ronald McDonald 🙂 All I saw was fall.
Even though this is a fall card I love the cheerful colors. Just start with an A2 card base cut at 11″ x 4.25″. Score and fold at 5.5″. The So Saffron layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″. The Tangerine Tango layer is cut at 4.5″ x 3.25″. The top white embossed layer is cut at 4″ x 2.75″. The early espresso strip is 4″ x .5″.
Finally, stamp and sponge the final pieces, add the ribbon, and remember to make your envelope pretty!
Love my simple Brightly Lit Christmas Lamppost with banner card. Other than some easy sponging this Christmas card is very quick. Notice the small “flame” inside the light? It’s the little things!
Start with an A2 card base in Whisper White cardstock. The dimensions are 8.5″ x 5.5″, score and fold in half at 4.25″. The Cherry Cobbler layer is 5.25″ x 4″, and the top white layer is cut at 5″ x 3.75″. Emboss this top layer with the Falling Snow embossing folder.
Cut out the lamppost pieces in black cardstock, and remember to cut a small top in crushed curry to make the “flame”. Cut the banner and stamp the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink.
Attach the lightpost using the fine tip glue pen. Add a small silver bow, and remember to make your envelope pretty!
Here’s my Stampin’Up! A Little Wild card & video. I had so much fun with this cute little expecting baby card! Even my little furry companion had to make an appearance! I left the blooper in the video for laughs, since it happens to be a common occurrence!
Start with an A2 cardstock base in Bermuda Bay. Cut at 11″ x 4.25″. Score and fold in half at 5.5″. The whisper white cardstock layer is 5.25″ x 4″ and this layer is embossed with the layered leaves folder. I absolutely LOVE the 3D Dynamic impressions embossing folders!!
Use the Bloomin Heart thinlet die to create the heart background in smokey slate cardstock. And cut the flowers and tiny laurel pieces out of the bermuda bay cardstock. Attach with the Tombow liquid glue.
Stamp and die cut the baby elephant from the “A Little Wild” bundle. I cut the tag top off and stamped a sentiment on the inside, just tucking the edge under a flower to stay closed. Stamp the congratulations sentiment, add the ribbon, and remember to make your envelope pretty!
This Stampin’Up! Label Me Pretty Powder Pink card is a very Clean and Simple card. Quick and easy, and I show an easy way to make sure your pretty ribbon from a double strand knot stays on tops where it shows pretty!
Start with an A2 cardbase in Powder Pink cut at 11″ x 4.25″. Score and fold at 5.5″. The Very Vanilla layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″ and embossed using the Cable Knit textured impressions embossing folder.
Stamp the sentiment and punch using the Pretty Label punch, punch another out of Powder Pink cardstock. Cut the pink one in half and use to border the sentiment. Pop up using dimensionals.
There’s a simple trick to keep decorative ribbon laying flat on top when making a double strand knot, see the video below!
My fun Coffee Cafe Thank you card was one of the swaps I made for our group. This whole Stampin’Up! suite of products is amazing! Being in the Seattle area, home of Starbucks, I can’t wait to play more with this set!
For this card start with a thick white A2 cardstock base cut at 8.5″ x 5.5″. Score and fold in half at 4.25″. The Early Espresso cardstock layer was cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and the Old Olive layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″. Emboss this layer with the seaside embossing folder.
Use the circle diecuts to create the focal point and the rings! Stamp and assemble the pieces for the coffee cup and thank you tag. Remember to make your envelope pretty!
Celebrate the big day with the Stampin’Up! Birthday Blossoms Brick embossed card! Love these fun pansy flowers!
Start this card with a 8.5″ x 5.5″ crumb cake card base. Score and fold at 4.25″. The Basic Black layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″. Finally the top Crumb Cake layer is cut at 5″ x 3.75″. Emboss this with the Brick Wall embossing folder.
Stamp 2 pansies in white ink on crumb cake and 2 on black cardstock. Punch out with the pansy punch. Tip: Each of the petals is different, so if you place a black mark next to the bottom petal (on the stamp) then it’s easier to line up in the punch!
Stamp and fussy cut the leaves. Use an office hole punch for the black circles and add the pearls. Stamp the sentiment on .75″ strip and layer on top of a .5″ black strip. Flag the ends. Remember to make the envelope pretty!
This Stampin’Up! Petal Burst Happy Birthday Card is really quick and easy! Use any decorative paper for the bottom layer.
Start with a layer of Smokey Slate cardstock cut at 11″ x 4.25″. Score at 5.5″ and fold in half. The second layer is Old Olive cardstock cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″.
The Whisper white layer is cut at 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″. Emboss this layer with the Petal Burst embossing folder. Attach this to the Old olive layer and wrap the ribbon around and tie off with a knot. Attach the doily under the silver ribbon and slip a bit of Silver Glimmer paper under the ribbon.
Stamp a sentiment on a 1/2″ strip of white paper and flag the ends. Do the same with a 1/2″ strip of Old Olive. Finally add some pearls for bling!
