Happy birthday to us! Celebrate Stampin’Up! Paper Pumpkin’s 5th Anniversary March 2018! Stampin’ Up! is kicking it off with a truly exciting campaign. Not only are we celebrating five years of creating and sharing together, but we also want to say thank you to all of our demonstrators and customers who have helped us reach this great milestone.
And what better way to do that than with a March kit which includes a fantastic, FREE gift and a specially designed, one-of-a-kind box? Most of all this kit is gorgeous, collectible, and is almost sure to go down in Paper Pumpkin history as an all-time customer favorite!
I personally love Paper Pumpkin and create my own designs from the kit every month! There is even a Facebook group dedicated to alternative paper pumpkin ideas! Or if you just want a simple, beautiful creative escape, in every box there are detailed instructions that are easy to follow! The best of both worlds!
And here is the Celebrate Stampin’Up! Paper Pumpkin’s 5th Anniversary short video:

Ready for some fairy tale fun? Try the Magical Day Wizard & Castle Occasions 2018 from the Myths & Magic suite! Mermaids, Dragons, knights in shining armor, unicorns, and of course, wizards! Everything you need for a fairy-tastic fun card!
In the video I show how I made a small hole in the brick wall embossed paper this allows me to cut bricks from the inside of the card to create a “hole” in the castle wall. The one part I forgot to show was how I made the hope your day sentiment separate. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with the coordinating framelit. Once done I move the framelit down to separate the two parts.

This Sweet Little Something 2018 Occasions card is done up for a baby, but can as easily be changed to an Easter Card with this versatile stamp set! I love this photo realistic 3 step stamping! There are several ways crafters approach this, for me I like to start with the lightest color on the stamp with the least detail. From there just use the medium tone for the second most detailed. And finally, the darkest color ink for the detail on the card. When these are lined up perfectly the effect is amazing! The one I do in the video is almost there!! Lol…
This card was created for one of our weekly color challenges and I needed a small pumpkin pie colored detail. So I custom colored our white bakers twine, and voila! Pop of color!
Yay!!! Stampin’ Up! 2018 Occasions & Sale-a-Bration…it’s time!!! Oh my goodness, I’m so excited! While demonstrators have been able to order for the past month, which allows us to create projects to share the new products and techniques, it has been so hard to have to wait until the go live dates for the 2018 Occasions and Sale A Bration catalogs!
The day is here! If you have ordered from me before you should have received the catalogs in the mail. If not I have ordered lots of extras let me know if you need one 🙂 Plus you can always view them as a PDF on my blog, just see the bottom of the page!
Here is the video sneak peek I posted in November of the Stampin’ Up! 2018 Occasions & Sale-a-Bration…it’s time!!!
in case you missed it:
Since I shared this sneak peek I have placed a couple more orders and had a chance to play with some really cool things. One of the items I’m really excited about is the Brusho Watercolor ink crystalson page 26 of the Occasions catalog! There are so many beautiful designs made with this amazing powder, personally I think the catalog just doesn’t do it justice!
One of the Bundles that has really grown on me is the Bubble Over Bundle, I have a teenager, so I thought this would be great! However, I have been so amazed by the variety and versatility of this fun set!
On a nostalgic note, I love the memories that the Hanging Garden set invokes. As a kid growing up my mom filled our home with hanging plants, yes, complete with macrame hangings…lol… These are just a few of the fun things available today! Find your favorites and let me know what they are!
This time of year is such a natural time to slow down and reflect on the things that are truly important in life. And yes, I have found that over the years this list changes. Some things are constant for me. My faith and my family being primary. I try on different hats and see how they fit, both my family and myself. Sometimes I have to let things go. Yes, even good things.
There are times when work gets too busy and my plate is too full, like everyone. That’s where you come in. I LOVE WHAT I DO! And I am so thankful for everyone that supports me and allows me to do something I derive so much joy from. Which in turn allows me to share that joy with others.
That happens in so many ways! My local crafting friends who I spend so much time with and are such a joy! I also love to see the ladies who come only to a few classes a year, but when I see them it’s like no time passed at all. Then there are folks around the country who are reading the Stamping Cat Crew blog, and around the world who are interacting through YouTube! Every time someone takes the time to comment on something is like getting a verbal hug! How cool is that??
So for all of the warm fuzzies I get from you all… Thank You! And have a blessed New Year!
