This Stampin’Up! Label Me Pretty Powder Pink card is a very Clean and Simple card. Quick and easy, and I show an easy way to make sure your pretty ribbon from a double strand knot stays on tops where it shows pretty!
Start with an A2 cardbase in Powder Pink cut at 11″ x 4.25″. Score and fold at 5.5″. The Very Vanilla layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″ and embossed using the Cable Knit textured impressions embossing folder.
Stamp the sentiment and punch using the Pretty Label punch, punch another out of Powder Pink cardstock. Cut the pink one in half and use to border the sentiment. Pop up using dimensionals.
There’s a simple trick to keep decorative ribbon laying flat on top when making a double strand knot, see the video below!
I had fun making this Stampin’Up! Crafting Forever Gate fold card. Since I really enjoy coloring, and things with depth and dimension, and moving parts… LOL… so the gate fold card was so fun for me to make a card tutorial on. Start with a base of 8.5″ x 5.5″, score and fold 2 1/8″ in from EACH END. the panels on the front are 5.25″ x 1 7/8″. Although I used our Stampin Up watercolor pencils, I did not blend, I just simply shaded using ONLY the pencils. Easy!
Making this Bright Wishes birthday card with Colored pencils gave me a chance to play! I love to color and since coloring has become so popular Stampin’Up! has released so many fun stamp sets perfect for the artist in all of us!
To make this card simply start with Daffodil Delight cardstock cut at 4.25″ x 11″. Score and fold at 5.5″. The whisper white cardstock layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″. Stamp the wishing well image toward the top and color using the watercolor pencils. For this card I didn’t use the blender pens or aqua painters, I just did the shading with the pencils alone.
Finally I used a Stampin’ sponge to blend Old Olive into the grass area. Finish off with the ribbon and the oval framelits.
To create this Stampin’Up! Beautiful You all occasion card see the video tutorial below!
I started with an 8.5″ x 5.5″ Whisper white piece of cardstock, and scored at 4.25″. Fold in half. The bermuda bay layer is 4″ x 5.25″, and the Shimmery White Cardstock layer is 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″, I used this because it holds up to coloring very well.
I stamped the image and the sentiment in Black Staz On. I used the Embossing Buddy to give me crisper embossed images, simply rub it over the space where you plan to heat emboss. Then I stamped the clouds in VersaMark and sprinkled them with the white embossing powder. Heat set with the Heat Tool (you will see it become shiny)
I went back and sponged Bermuda Bay where I wanted it. A good trick is to start OFF your paper in round motions going on where needed. Remember you can always add more sponging, but you can’t take a mistake away!
Finally, THEY ARE BACK! Watercolor Pencils!! Yay!!
I love to outline my images darker and then lightly color in with the same shade. Then use our wonderful blender pens to smooth out the coloring and blend the shading. Outline the image using the fine tip glue and sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
