Stampin’ Up! Cool Treats Waterfall Card

Stampin' Up! Cool Treats Waterfall Card

Had so much fun making this Stampin’ Up! Cool Treats Waterfall Card. Fun bold summer colors in a waterfall card? Yes please! This technique came up in conversation at our last Stamp Club meeting, and I had requests to teach the technique again. Loving the Cool Treats stamp set for this motion card!

Here is the motion picture:

Start with an A2 card base.  Some people only use the card front, but I actually like the full card to write in!  However it’s nice to know your options!

The Melon Mambo layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″.  And the Lemon Lime Twist strip is cut at 1″ x 4.25″.  Next the white pull strip is cut at 2 1/4″ x 9″. Score at 2″, 2.75″, 3.5″, and 4.25″.  The Melon Mambo mats are 2.25″ square, and the white stamped layers are 2″ square.  See the tutorial below for full assembly.

Creative Cat Project Details:

Cut the base paper at 5 1/2″x 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″ (makes a standard card) here I used Blushing Bride #131198. I also cut a 1″x 4 1/4″ of the same color.

The Basic Black paper #121045 is cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″, I also used this as the matting for the stamped images, cut at  2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″. I used the Large Polka Dot embossing folder #133739 on the black card front.

The Whisper White #100730 squares with the stamped images are 2″ x 2″.  I used the Stampin’Up! Sketched Birthday stamp set, #130423 wood, #130426 clear and the pull is 9″x 2 1/4″

On the inside of the pull I used the new Build A Bouquet photopolymer stamp set #137166, the new Stampin’Up! stapler #139083, and the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch #119860 to create the pull.  The stamped images are in Black Staz on, or Momento ink.

I used Blushing Bride #131172 and Rose Red ink #126954 with blender pens #102845 to do the coloring.

I finished up with Dazzling Diamonds #133751 using the Stampin’Up! 2 way glue pen #100425, and some Rhinestones #119246.

Make sure to use Sticky Strip # 104294 for any pieces that need extra adhesive!

Here’s the video tutorial for step by step instructions!

Happy Creating!
